The third card of our class on Monday - a fun technique that I wanted to share with you today. I used two of the sets I'm going to miss, as they retire in August. <snif> In fact, Artully Asian was the set I used on the first convention (regional) swap I ever participated in - wanna see? Someone actually has record of it on her blog here! French Flair was one of my earliest sets I bought as a demonstrator, so both have big meaning for me. So, without further ado, and in tribute to these two, wonderful sets, here we go!
(this technique I learned at a Colourful Impressions Meeting - the demo group I attend - I don't know where they learned it, but if it is yours, please be sure to let me know and I'll give you credit!) :)
I highlited the 'French Flair' set with the white gel pen as well, if you are wondering how I did that..

Dry Embossing on Vellum Tutorial
Step 1: Stamp Image onto Cardstock Vellum using Staz-On
Step 2: Clean Stamp by Using Staz-On Cleaner - rub on, then wipe off with damp rag. Good as new!
Step 3: Make sure the image is dry, and then TURN IMAGE UPSIDE DOWN (ink down). Using your Embossing Stylus (the small end), rub the back of the image, filling in all the areas which you want to pop up.
Step 4: Turn image back over - voila! Your embossed image!
